Today’s Top Budget-Related Headlines…
Notes: School, library, and local levy campaigns have a long history in Ohio. Over the years, state officials (including the Ohio Supreme Court) have said that it is unfair when we rely too heavily on local property taxes to fund education. We need a state education funding formula that provides an Equitable and Adequate education for all. The most recent state budgets have made cuts and implemented policies that will further shift the responsibility for funding education onto local communities.

Ohio needs to look at long term investments in infrastructure and other public works projects that will improve the quality of life for Ohioans, improve business opportunities, and invest in Ohio’s Future.
